Habitat Restoration Workday, Garber Park, Saturday, March 19, 10 am-noon. Join us in Garber Park as we tackle the invading French broom, thistle, Cape ivy in and around the Harwood Creek Restoration Site to give the natives a chance to thrive. As we weed we will also monitor the survival rate from past plantings at this beautiful riparian corridor. We provide gloves, tools, water and snacks. Please bring a water bottle. Wear long sleeves and pants, and shoes/boots with good tread. Directions to the Claremont Ave Entrance: Many of you have been to Garber before and have your own favorite way of getting here, but for those who aren’t familiar with the park a map and directions can be found on our website www.garberparkstewards.org. Click on Directions in the menu bar at the top.
